In this presentation, Coach Fly will describe how he navigates the “hoops & ladders” of the high school academic environment to get athletes trained during the school day. He will speak on the benefits of training during the school day rather than before & after school. He will introduce important aspects that must be understood about an individual school in order to potentially navigate the “academic waters” to get athletes trained during the school day. He will go into detail on how he has specifically made class offerings & how he has made student schedules toensure placement into a class in order to train during the school day.
