The COVID-19 environment and the unprecedented quarantine that came with it has been a once in a lifetime challenge for all of us. This is true on both a personal and professional level. After the conclusion of the season, it was important to look back to gain a better understanding of what had occurred from both a physical and mental perspective. The intent of this presentation was to examine the 90-day period directly following the 2020 Quarantine. It provided the unique opportunity to create various investigations into the underpinning psychological and physiological changes that occurred as a consequence of the quarantine as well as the early training adaptions that came from them. This presentation is a recording of those investigations intending to provide both context to the past as well as key concepts for the future.

Learning Objectives

  1. What did we learn from the 90 unprecedented days of the quarantine and the months shortly following it?
  2. What did we think we knew that was confirmed?
  3. What do we do with this knowledge now?
