Hi, my name is Nathan Haney. I’m going to be presenting on aerobic conditioning application with a particular reference to maximal aerobic speed and field based testing.
As part of the presentation, I’m going to cover what is maximal aerobic speed. Through that, I will be covering background, definitions. I’ll then move on to field based tests that are used to determine VO2max and maximal aerobic speed. In here, it’s really important that we would cover the validity and the reliability of all the most popular field based tests. Then I’ll conclude this presentation by looking at why high intensity interval training. I’ll look at comparing high intensity interval training to other conditioning methods, such as continuous training and fartlek training.
